Car sales dropped by 43.5% in Penza

Penza, 22 June 2015. PenzaNews. The unused car sales in Penza dropped by 43.5% over the first five months of 2015, says the research held by Autostat analysis agency in several cities with population over 500,000.

According to the notes to the research, the car sales dropped by an average of 37.7% over the country.
Four of the 25 cities with populations over 500,000 in the top 25 car markets of Russia have shown a drop of over 50% over January-May: Ufa (-60.3%), Tyumen (-55.7%), Rostov-on-Don (-53.5%) and Ekaterinburg (-52.2%).
Five more of the top 25 approached the 50% threshold closely: Krasnoyarsk (-49.8%), Voronezh (-49.7%), Izhevsk (-49.0%), Perm, (-48.8%) and Chelyabinsk (-48.7%).
Moscow and St. Petersburg also showed negative trends: -38/3% and -41.7% respectively.
According to the research results, only six cities out of the top 25 with populations over 500,000 have shown higher-than-average results: Krasnodar (-34.7%), Omsk (-34.7%), Novosibirsk (-35.3%), Kazan (-35.4%), Naberezhniye Chelny (-37.2%) and Tolyatti (-37.4%).
