“Mogilevsky Dvorik” sidewalk in Penza finally repaired

Penza, 25 June 2015. PenzaNews. The repairs of the “Mogilevsky Dvorik” area sidewalk in Penza has finally been finished. A road crew has laid asphalt at the final section, previously marked only with rubble and curbstones, on Wednesday, June 24, almost two months after its beginning.

Based on the observations of the local residents, the section that was repaired the last constitutes a half of the sidewalk, while the other half had been repaired before Russia Day celebration.
Moreover, the crews also finished working on another problem-causing section of Stroiteley prospekt sidewalks, going from Glazunova street, 1, to “Avtodrom” bus stop.
Based on the reports from the people living in the nearby apartment buildings, the young workers did the job quickly and completed a significant section of work comparable to what should have been done since early May over a single day.
However, the area still needs to be cleaned up of the aftermath of the repairs, such as the rubbish left by the workers.
