919 children born in Penza region families with many kids since year’s beginning

Penza, 7 July 2015. PenzaNews. A total of 919 children were born in families with three or many kids in the Penza region in the first half of 2015.
This is 120 newborns more than in the first six months of 2013, when the Presidential decree No. 606 dated May 7, 2012, “On Implementing Demographic Policy of the Russian Federation,” only went into force, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of Labor informed PenzaNews agency.
“A total of 3,855 people receive a monthly allowance of 6,541 rubles for every third and subsequent child under 3. A total sum of the subsidies reaches 151.6 million rubles, including 90.4 million rubles from the federal budget,” the officials noted.
They added that a total of 4,376 third and subsequent children were born in the region since the Presidential decree had come into force.
