Zarechny, 8 July 2015. PenzaNews. A city-wide campaign “Clean Ponds” will be held in Zarechny city of the Penza region on Friday, July 10.

It is dedicated to cleaning the waters and the shores of the three ponds within the “Solnechnaya” recreation area and the adjacent territory, as well as mowing the grass and cutting the reeds.

The urban amendment service and the Urban Improvement and Forestry Industrial Complex will provide the necessary equipment and machinery. Moreover, the city Natural Resources Management Department and Citizen Protection Department will provide their assistance.

After the campaign, two of the three ponds in the “Solnechnaya” recreation zone will be treated with “Microzym,” a biological substance designed to sanitize water bodies contaminated with biological waste.

The city officials ask all organizations and citizens to take part in the campaign. The gathering of the volunteers is scheduled for 13.00 by the bridge behind “Sovremennik” culture center, says the public relations management office of Zarechny.
