“I see no positive changes in transportation services for the citizens. The fare increased. The transportation companies fail to fulfill their obligations,” he noted.

According to him, the companies in question promised to increase the salaries up to 25,000 rubles for drivers and up to 19,000 rubles for ticket collectors.

“Now they are looking for various schemes to circumvent it to avoid any liability,” the head of the region added.

Ivan Belozertsev also noted that the amount of hard cash circulating in the transportation field is very high.

“And that means the tariff set by us is, from my point of view, not justified. If that wasn’t the case, all the budgets would receive additional taxes, and we would find an option to co-finance the fares. I see none of that at the moment, so I am asking you to present an analysis of the situation within a week’s span,” he said.
