Penza news entrepreneurs fined a total of 288 thousand rubles for alcohol sale violations

Penza, 22 July 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region Rospotrebnadzor department has fined the local entrepreneurs a total of 288 thousand rubles over the six months of 2015 for violations of alcohol sales legislation.

During the aforementioned period, the officials fined three business entities and 45 persons responsible, the press service of the department informed PenzaNews agency.
“The audits were held for 62 entities and 77 locations. 34 of them, or 44.1%, had violations,” the Rospotrebnadzor representatives added.
They explained that the most frequent violations (46% of the number) were related to not providing the customers full information about the sellers or the prices in price tags and lists.
“There were facts of vodka sales below price threshold without observing the ban on vodka sales in the vicinity of educational institutions,” the press service added.
They noted that every fact resulted in reaction and fines for parties responsible.
“The total amount of fines in the first half of the year for these violations is 190 thousand rubles, including 86.5 thousand in Q2,” the Rospotrebnadzor clarified.
The press service also noted that the Penza police received 11 reports on falsified alcohol sales.
“Each case resulted in fines through court. As of July 1, 10 parties were fined for 98,000 rubles. Moreover, the police confiscated 235 liters of illegally sold alcohol liquors for a total cost of 212,000 rubles,” they stressed.
The officials noted that 45.8% of the violations were related to improper storage temperature for wines and poor sanitary conditions for trade and dining enterprises.
