Ivan Belozertsev holds talks on oncology illnesses detection cooperation

Penza, 23 July 2015. PenzaNews. Cooperation in diagnosing and treating oncology illnesses became one of the main issues during the meeting of the acting governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev and a group of TMC Horev Medical Center specialists who arrived from Israel for experience exchange. The meeting was held on Thursday, July 23.

The parties also discussed possible mutual cooperation in other medical fields, such as therapy, surgery, gynecology and pediatric area.

According to Roman Barak, director of internal illnesses institute at TMC Horev Medical Center, the Israeli specialists see the concerns of the Penza region authorities and doctors and their struggle to achieve good results.

“We are speaking of additional education and exchange of experience with Penza doctors, which will greatly increase the quality of medical services,” he said.

The Israeli doctor also said they consider the idea of establishing long-term professional ties with great interest.

In his turn, Ivan Belozertsev noted that the Penza region is open for joint work.

“As a head of the region, I will do everything to assist the improvement of professional cooperation between the skilled workers of our countries. We have a lot to show in the hi-tech medical treatment field, and increased communication will help reach new horizons in healthcare system,” he stressed.

Currently, the leading professionals from the Israeli medical center hold a seminar for their Penza colleagues on medical treatment for oncology patients during the project “Horev Unlimited,” the press service of the regional government informed PenzaNews agency.
