“Representatives of various professions – train operators and staff, construction and repair crews, engineers and station operators – all who work on the railroad, take pride in their profession and serve to nurture the great legacy left by generations of their precursors, celebrate this holiday. Many do so on work or on the way. Thanks to responsibility and coordinated performance of train and station operators, train staff, road crews, our economy receives its vital shipments on time and people get from one place to another,” he noted.

The city head thanked the railroad workers for their labor and expressed particular gratitude to the veterans of the industry.
