Penza, 3 August 2015. PenzaNews. The number of abortions in the Penza region over the first 6 months of 2015 reduced by 15% compared to the same period a year ago.

“These numbers changed because of various information and education events, roundtable meetings, lectures and open door days actively held since year’s beginning,” the press service of the Health Ministry in the Penza region informed PenzaNews agency.

One of them was the all-Russian campaign “Give Me Life” that was held on July 9-12, they added.

“Five women declined their abortions as a result,” the Ministry stressed.
