Penza, 7 August 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza officials have opened the renewed Construction Workers Hall of Fame on Friday, August 7.

The acting governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev congratulated the heroes of the day with their professional holiday.

“It is true that God created the world, and construction workers did the rest. I would like to express my gratitude on this day to you, chiefs, crew leaders, bricklayers, plasterers, crane operators, architects, and regular workers, all those involved in the construction industry,” said the head of the region.

According to him, the aforementioned industry currently shows good results.

“The quality gets better, and complaints get less numerous,” Ivan Belozertsev pointed out.

In his turn, the head of Penza city administration Yuri Krivov noted that the city grew more beautiful as they continue to build new beautiful structures.

“Apart from the words of gratitude, I would also like to say that if we owe anything to anyone, we will pay them back in earnest, believe me. This is only a question of time,” the mayor stressed.

The speeches were followed by the opening of the Hall of Fame.

The ceremony also involved Alexander Yeremkin of the Penza Construction Union, Victor Kuvaytsev, and the general director of “Penzastroy” Valentin Zhuravlev.

Afterwards, the officials gave the most prominent construction workers diplomas, letters of gratitude and confirmation of their addition to the fame list.
