Up to 700 recruits of Penza junior specialists' training center take oath

Penza, 8 August 2015. PenzaNews. Up to 700 recruits of the training center for junior specialists of the Penza Artillery Engineering Institute, took the military oath of allegiance to Russia on Saturday, August 8.

Family and friends from different regions of the country came to support the young people.

Among the officials congratulating the gathered on the remarkable day was Ivan Belozertsev, acting governor of the Penza region.

“Army service is not easy, but there is no more important and honorable service for the man than this. Serve faithfully to your homeland, to your family and friends, we can all rightly be proud of you,” the head of the region said.

As the press service of the Penza region government informed PenzaNews agency, the recruits will be trained for four months.

“The centre for junior specialits' training was established in the Penza region in 2009 by bringing together educational institutions in St. Petersburg and Novocherkassk. In 2011 it was included in the Penza Artillery Engineering Institute as a structural unit, providing training in 16 specialties for the repair services of missile and artillery of the districts. Here 10 thousand professionals have been trained are now professionals in their field and are making a significant contribution to ensuring reliable defense capability of the country,” the press service noted.
