Penza, 14 August 2015. PenzaNews. 236 offenses in taxis passenger transportation have been identified by the police in the Penza region since the beginning of 2015.

“191 reports have been made on the violations of the implementation of business activity without state registration and special permission, and 45 administrative reports for violation of traffic rules. The amount of fines imposed is nearly 300 thousand rubles,” deputy chief of the department of administrative law applying of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region, lieutenant colonel of police, Alexander Kolemasov informed PenzaNews agency.

He called on the regional residents to be careful and warned against the use of questionable services.

“It is quite problematic to visually distinguish a legal taxi driver from an illegal one. However, a taxi, which arrives on a call must be properly equipped. It should bear a special mark, light-graphic schemes,” the lieutenant colonel of police reminded.

Alexander Kolemasov also drew attention to the fact that in case of an accident in a taxi, the customers of cars unauthorized to transport passengers, may have difficulties repairing pecuniary damage.
