Among those who congratulated the participants of the project on its completion, was Ruslan Gulyaev, acting deputy minister of education of the Penza region.

“I think that in the modern era it is very important to keep up with the time. I believe that the projects presented today, will be brought to life,” he said.

Pavel Udalov. head of Innovation Policy of the Ministry of Industry of the Penza region, wished the laboratory success and noted that the six weeks of participation in the project were just the first step in the work of young innovators.

In turn, Sergei Matyukin, deputy general director at the Center of Cluster Development, stressed that IT-Lab is a unique project not only for the Penza region, but also for other regions of the country.

“It is also unique because such an educational project is initiated by the employers themselves. IT-cluster members realize that they need competent professionals, talent pool, and are ready to spend their time, their resources in order to prepare these professionals,” he said.

Sergei Matyukin expressed hope that in the future the lab will grow and develop.

Then Maxim Semenkin, president of Secon association of software developers, spoke in detail about the formation of the project and its main tasks.

Continued event presentations by project participants. Eight teams have presented the development of innovative products that they created during training in IT-lab.

Among them is the project “No Surplus,” which allows farmers to promptly dispose food surplus, and the city residents — to get them at a bargain price, and “Where is the child?” helping parents track the location of children, dating site analogue called “Love is,” program for shopping list compilation and sharing of goods “There will be food!” and application for travelers “Travellers.”

In addition, one team has developed project “Teleport,” which allows making a virtual trip to anywhere in the world, and another team created a functional database “Personnel” for employers.

Also they presented project “Smart yogurt,” which is a device for cooking maintaining the right temperature range.of food.

It is expected that based on the results of the IT-lab, the best developments will receive grants from the University of Innopolis. Moreover, all the participants will be awarded.
