Penza region voters number decreased by 22 thousand since 2006

Penza, 15 August 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region number of voters of the ten-year observation period reduced by 22,102 people, that is about one third of the population of a city like Zarechny.

According to the regional election committee, on July 1, 2006, the number of voters amounted to 1,121,899 people, and on July 1, 2015 — 1,099,797 people.
On the first day of the second half of 2007, the figure was 1,116,702, and in one year it grew rapidly up to 1,130,516 people.
After that a downward trend began: in 2009 — 1,129,289 people, in 2010 — 1,125,519 people, in 2011 — 1,122,968 people, in 2012 — 1,121,778 people, in 2013 — 1,115,114 people, in 2014 — 1,107,789 people.
Thus, based on the information presented, the difference between the maximum number of voters registered on 1 July 2008 and the minimum on1 July 2015, amounted to 30,719 people.
As PenzaNews reported earlier, the Penza gubernatorial elections, as well as by-elections of deputies to the representative bodies of local self-government in a number of municipalities will be held on September 13.
The officially registered candidates for the position of the governor of the Penza region are five people: Vladimir Simagin (the Communist Party), Zhigansha Tuktarov (LDPR), Ivan Belozertsev (United Russia), Gennady Eroshin (A Just Russia), and Vladimir Popkov (Rodina – Mitherland-National Patriotic Union).
