As noted Vyacheslav Eryuzhev, transfusion specialist, the police are always active in blood donation, and this time was no exception.

“When the procedure is properly conducted, up to 20 people can donate within an hour,” he said, adding that a single batch for each donor amounts to 450 ml, regardless of whether a person have come for the first time or is a regular donor.

Vyacheslav Eryuzhev explained that the donated blood is mainly transferred to the federal Center of Cardiovascular Surgery, Oncology Center and Zakharyin city hospital.
