“Live, village!” contest winners awarded in Penza

Penza, 21 August 2015. PenzaNews. The award ceremony of the regional contest “Live, village” was held during the regional pedagogical meeting in the Penza Lermontov library on Friday, August 21.

Addressing the participants of the contest, acting governor Ivan Belozertsev expressed his gratitude for the proposed ideas for the development of promising villages in the region.
“It is impossible to develop Russia without school, education, and training,” he said.
During the ceremony, the first-degree awards were presented to the schols of Nechaevka, Mokshansky area for their project “My village Nechaevka,” and Starye Turdaki, Gorodishchensky area for “Steps to Success.”
The second place went to Hero of Socialist Labor Tsirulev school in Annenkovo village, Kuznetsky area for “Clean village” project.
The third place was shared by Krasnaya Gorka school, Kolyshleysky area with “Professional orientation of schoolchildren as the necessity of social and economic development of the village,” and Verkhnyaya Elyuzan school, Gorodishchensky area with their project “School mini-farm “NUR.”
The regional project “Live, village!” is being implemented in the Penza region since 2013. It involves 103 schools located in the villages – centers of regional development.
In 2015, the project covered nearly 15 thousand students from 77 schools.
