The Penza region department of FAS investigated the fact of fee collection.

“In the course of the proceedings, FAS specialists found that the cost of bus station services provided to passengers including the sale of tickets for the route carriers are already incorporated in the tariff. This rate in the suburban, intraregional and interregional buses is approved in the amount of 2 rubles per 1 passenger-kilometer,” Marina Goryachev, press secretary of the FAS in the Penza region, told PenzaNews agency.

She added that the collection of unreasonable presale fees carried out by JSC “Penza association of bus stations” was qualified as abuse of a dominant position in the market.

“As a result, the organization was found to have violated the requirements of paragraph 10, part 1, art. 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition.” During the FAS commission meeting, the company presented the order on presale ticket fee cancellation. In connection with the voluntary elimination of the antimonopoly violations, the case against JSC “Penza association of bus stations” was closed,” the agency interlocutor explained.
