Two Penza projects recommended for 300,000-ruble grant prize

Penza, 25 August 2015. PenzaNews. Two projects made by young representatives of the Penza region were included in the list of potential targets for grants for a total sum of 300,000 rubles during the fifth session of the All-Russian youth forum “Tavrida” that concluded on Tuesday, August 25.
These are the projects “Sources of Legacy” by Anastasia Mescheryakova and “Jazz Orchestra” by Taisiya Alexukhina, the press service of the regional Ministry of Education informed PenzaNews agency.
“Six representatives of the Penza region took part in the session titled ‘Composers and Musicians.’ They took part in lectures, workshops, talks with famous musicians, producers, managers and experts, such as Nadezhda Babkina, Olga Kormukhina, Mark Tishman, as well as Channel One’s assistant head producer for music and entertainment programs Alexander Podyapolsky, Russian pianist Yuri Rozum, and head menager of ‘Nashestvie’ festival Alexander Shkolnik,” they added.
According to the regional Education Ministry, the education session concluded with a two-hour performance organized by the students.
