Penza, 29 August 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza officials plan to install 30 CCTV new cameras in the city and 60 more in the main highways of the region as part of the hardware-software Safe City system, the press service of the regional government informed PenzaNews agency.

The development of the system was discussed during the regular meeting session of the Penza region government held on Friday, August 28.

Apart from the management of photo and video recording of the situation on the streets, the deputies discussed creating dedicated institutions throughout the residential areas of the region for treating drunk persons, with potential cooperation with hospitals or the police and with experience of other cities.

The session was also dedicated to defining the responsible department on the topic of rehabilitation and social reintroduction of drug addicts.
