Penza, 5 September 2015. PenzaNews. Penza region will hold multiple checks of subcontracting organizations involved in the winter season works on September 15-30, announced the acting Minister of Construction and Urban Amenities of the region Alexander Grishaev.

According to him, the authorities will hold company-based pre-season briefings with the Construction Ministry and the Construction and Road Management Department of the Penza region.

“I recommend all municipalities to hold similar audits,” Alexander Grishaev said during the videoconference meeting with head of municipal area administrations on Friday, September 4.

Each residential area is to provide timetables to the Ministry by Tuesday, September 8, he added.

According to public data, the municipalities of the Penza region have 1,102 snow-cleaning and repair vehicles, all in good condition, along with 685 units of dedicated machines for regional roads.

The region seeks to prepare a total of 102,000 tons of sand-salt mix for road cleaning. Currently, this plan is 96% fulfilled.
