Penza, 6 September 2015. PenzaNews. The celebration of the 350th anniversary of Penza city received an award “Edges of Mass Theater” during the ceremony in the Moscow Civil Organizations Center on Friday, September 4.

The anniversary celebration won the category “Best City Day Event.”

The ceremony was attended by the Penza Culture Department head Vera Feigina, and the artistic director of the dance ensemble “Venzelya” Larisa Alexeeva, Distinguished Worker of Arts of Russia, winner of “Spirit of Russia” award, holder of “Edges of Mass Theater” award.

The winning project “For Glory of Russia, For Good of the People!” is a joint work of the Moscow team “Carnival-Style” and the cultural organizations of Penza.

“It was very pleasant working with Penza citizens, as Penza is full of talented youth and strong arts teams. All of them were presented. Each of them sought to make a gift to its beloved city. We all worked as one big unified team,” general director of “Carnival-Style” Sergei Tylkin noted.
