Penza, 8 September 2015. PenzaNews. The monument installation “First Cat Bank” was unveiled in Penza. It is located on Krasnaya street, 49, by the shop “Mendeleev.”

The installation is a bronze sculpture of a cat named “Mitka” with a crutch, asking for alms, and the bronze had at his feet has a coin slot for donations that end up in the safe under the cat sculpture.

The installation was created by the renowned Penza sculptor German Feoktistov, known for creating a bronze “entry pass monument” in Zarechny.

The donated money will be used to help the center for stray cats and dogs, the homeless animals center “Pitomets” told PenzaNews agency.
