Penza, 9 September 2015. PenzaNews. The acting governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev instructed the regional Ministry of Finance to provide the funds for repairs in a Kuznetsk 30-flat apartment building on Sverdlova street that was damaged in a big fire on September 1.

“We will not leave you hanging. It is important for us to see that every resident of this house gets support. I see my task in arranging for quick and high-quality repairs of your housing,” the head of the region addressed the residents of the apartment building during his visit to Kuznetsk on Tuesday, September 8.

The repairs will also involve business investments, Ivan Belozertsev added.

“We all will help you,” stressed the official.

According to the press service of the Penza region government, the acting governor instructed his subordinates to investigate ways to provide additional help to the people.

Based on preliminary investigation, the September 1 fire in a Kuznetsk city apartment building was caused by negligence of one of the flat residents.

As a result, the building and the private property in the flats suffered great damage. The blaze destroyed the roof, the floor between the attic and the fourth floor, and the property in flats on the fourth floor. Extinguishing the fire required to flood the flats on fourth to first floors. At the moment, all flats in the apartment building are unsuitable for residents.
