Penza, 14 September 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev suggested to remove the company “Gorodskiye Apteki” from the privatization plan for 2015 and the planning period of 2016-2017.

“I suggest to regard the social importance of ‘Gorodskiye Apteki’ in the current tough situation and requirements to provide population with medicine as grounds to remove it from the privatization plan,” he said during the session of the City Duma committee on urban planning, land use and property held on Monday, September 14.

Victor Kuvaytsev also suggested to allocate the company an office building of 775.9 sq. meters on Stroiteley prospekt, 35.

“We will be adding the office building that was not given to them originally and was not included in their assets, while they currently reside there,” the city head explained.

According to Victor Kuvaytsev, “its shareholder is one hundred percent the municipality.”

The present committee members supported the city head’s offer.
