Vasily Bochkarev returns as Penza Region Motorcycle Federation president

Penza, 24 September 2015. PenzaNews. The former Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev, who was appointed a member of the Russian Federation Council on September 21, returned to the office of the president for the Penza Region Motorcycle Federation.

“We filled the appointment paperwork in early September,” Vyacheslav Shultaev, vice-president of the Penza Region Motorcycle Federation, told PenzaNews agency on Thursday, September 24.
Vasily Bochkarev’s candidacy was the only one, and received anonymous support, he clarified.
Vasily Bochkarev already had been in the lead of the Penza Region Motorcycle Federation. Currently, Vyacheslav Shultaev is still listed as its president on the organization’s website.
According to the history of the club available on its website, the Penza region saw an outbreak in motorcycle popularity in 1995, after 15 years of stagnation in this field: Vasily Bochkarev, Master of Motorcycle Sports of the Soviet Union, back then the head of the Zhelezhnodorozhny area administration of Penza city, took the initiative to form the regional motorcycle federation.
According to information available through public sources, the Penza Region Motorcycle Federation is the founding shareholder of “Express,” a TV and radio broadcasting company.
