During the festive religious service held in the Church of Resurrection, the governor Ivan Belozertsev presented him a letter of congratulation.
“Your high service in the head of the Penza archdiocese was marked by growth of traditions of mercy, enlightenment, social service and help to all in need. Your noble mission as an Archbishop relentlessly aid to strengthening of morals, family traditions and spiritual education of the younger generation,” the congratulation reads.
The head of the region wished him to remain in sound health and maintain strength in relentless work for the good of the Russian Orthodox Church and the native country, says the press service of the regional government.
