“Our elder generation has rightfully deserved deep respect and gratitude. You built factories and plants, worked in the gardens, reinforced the strength of the armed forces, defended the freedom and independence of the Fatherland in the tough years of the Second World War, and this year we celebrate the 70th anniversary of our victory in it,” he pointed out.

Russia became one of the leading world powers thanks to their patriotism, selfless work, professional skills and relentless pursuit of many objectives, the governor added.
