Penza, 3 October 2015. PenzaNews. The annual campaign of the Penza zoo “Doing Good is Easy” is growing in popularity, as local citizens continue donating fruits and vegetables from their private gardens to support the institution.

The school children are particularly helpful, says the website of the Penza zoo.

For example, the students of the gymnasium No. 1 have brought a big package for animals and birds, that contained various vegetables, fruits, berries, seeds, pre-packed food for chinchillas and rabbits, as well as a large pumpkin with the ID of the class, 3A, cut into it.

The foods will be distributed among the zoo animals by the feeding center.

In return, the Penza zoo administration expressed their gratitude to all who participate in the campaign for providing their vital help to the animals.
