Penza placed among travel-frugal Russian main cities
Penza, 8 October 2015. PenzaNews. The city of Penza was named one of the main cities of Russia that is inexpensive for travelers, according to results of the rating published by Travel.ru tourism website.

For a total of 83 cities, the analysts of the web portal have calculated expenses required for a weekend trip for two, including the costs of an overnight stay in an affordable city-center hotel, a dinner in a café or a restaurant, and a visit to a popular local museum.
Penza was placed 34th: according to the rating, the cost of visiting the city, including a trip to the Museum of a Single Picture, is 2,640 rubles per day.
The top 10 frugal main Russian cities includes Bryansk, Smolensk, Volgograd, Kirov, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl, Krasnodar and Barnaul, with required daily budgets ranging from 1,700 to 2,200 rubles per day.
At the same time, Moscow was placed 73rd with 3,480 rubles daily, and St. Petersburg 62th with 3,180 rubles for a day of recreation.
The top five most travel-expensive main Russian city is Naryan-Mar (4,500 rubles daily), Cherkessk (4,620 rubles), Anadyr (4,940 rubles), Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (6,290 rubles), and Magas (6,990 rubles).
