Penza announces contest for Sura river embankment beautification projects

Penza, 12 October 2015. PenzaNews. The city-wide contest for projects of beautification for the Sura river embankment will take place in Penza from October 26 to December 25, following the city administration decree signed by the mayor Yuri Krivov.

Contest participants are tasked to create possible designs for beautification and reconstruction of the embankment strip between the Bakuninsky bridge and the Peski Island.
The contest organizers are looking for projects that create a positive image of Penza as a city with well-developed and comfortable infrastructure, require a minimum of expenses for beautification, inspire positive feelings over the Little Motherland of Penza citizens, and involve the youth in the process of making quality changes to city’s environment.
They invite art and civil organizations, educational institutions, students, advertisement agencies and all volunteers to submit their projects.
Those willing to participate in the contest can do so by submitting their projects before November 25 to the room 301 of the Urban Planning and Architecture Department for the Penza city administration, located on Pushkina street, 2.
Each project must include an A3/A2 design album in both printed and digital forms, as well as other required documents in digital form.
The contest will conclude at December 10, and the results will be drawn on the same day.
The winner will receive a money prize and a diploma. Moreover, the contest jury will be able to award honorary prizes to distinguished participants.
The total prize fund of the contest is 50,000 rubles.
