“Heating is supplied to 100% of medical institutions (hospitals), 88% of educational institutions, 91% of social institutions, 95% cultural institutions and 88% of sports institutions,” the press service of the city administration told PenzaNews agency.
The currently ongoing repairs of heating pipelines on Plekhanova street, as well as Stroiteley and Pobedy prospekts, are scheduled to complete by the end of Tuesday, October 13, the city hall added.
On October 12, the vice mayor Yuri Ilyin held a briefing where he commented on complaints from residents of many apartment buildings throughout the city about the lack of heating and hot water supply, despite the announced beginning of the heating season.
According to him, an apartment building is considered to have its heating supply activated if “its heating core received heating supply at least once, with possible interruptions due to emergencies.”
