Moscow, 14 October 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region will receive 10,983,000 rubles of subsidies from the federal budget in 2015 for support for socially oriented noncommercial organizations.

The total fund of 621 million rubles was distributed among the 55 regions that bypassed the selection, following the decree of the Russian government signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The subsidies will be allocated under the subprogram “Increase of Effectiveness for State Support of SONCOs” of the state program “Social Support of Citizens.”

A total of 74 regions of Russia had applied for selection earlier.

According to notes to the government decree, the decision provides for better conditions for regional support programs for socially oriented NCOs.

The document was reviewed and approved during the October 8 session of the Russian government.
