Penza, 22 October 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza shopping and entertainment complex “Collazh” will hold an information campaign on World Stroke Day on Thursday, October 29.

During the campaign, doctors from the Burdenko clinical hospital, the hospitals No. 3 and 4, and the regional illness prevention center will check all applicants for risks of chronic non-infectious diseases, such as stroke.

They will be measuring blood pressure, weight index, blood sugar and cholesterol level.

Moreover, those interested in staying healthy will learn about the main stroke risk factors, symptoms, prevention techniques and the importance of visiting doctor on time.

They will also receive advice on adjusting the uncovered risk factors with the help of a physician, neurologist and cardiologist.

The doctors will work with citizens between 12.00 and 14.00, says the press service of the Health Ministry of the Penza region.
