Seven PSU young lecturers to compete for “best” title

Penza, 10 November 2015. PenzaNews. Seven lecturers of the Penza State University are taking part in Young University Professor contest that will conclude on Thursday, November 19, during the grand ceremony planned in the meeting hall of PSU’s Belinsky Pedagogical Institute.

Roman Shirshakov, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, lecturer in the Russian Language and Russian Language Study Methods department, is representing the History and Philology faculty.

The Physics, Maths and Natural Sciences faculty submitted two representatives: Olga Dogurevich, Candidate of Biological Sciences, lecturer in the General Biology and Biochemistry department; and Alexei Kindaev, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, lecturer for the General Physics and Physics Study Methods department.

Evgeny Zotov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, lecturer for the Machinery Construction Technology department, will be fighting for the honor of the Polytechnic Institute, while Oksana Terekhina, senior professor of the Physical Education department, will be doing the same for the Physical Education and Sports Institute.

At the same time, Natalya Pravosudova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, lecturer for the Microbiology, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases department, will stand for the Medical Institute.

In turn, Zhanna Eliseeva, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, lecturer for the General Psychology department, will be representing the Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Sciences faculty.

At the moment, the contestants are undergoing the second stage of the event – contest task – that followed the representative tour that required every contestant to submit an application, answer a questionnaire, and prepare a short autobiography and CV of prominent achievements.

During the final stage of the contest, the participants will be defending their autopresentations “Me and My Future Profession,” take part in an improvisation contest, and perform an artistic task, says the PSU press service.
