Penza, 13 November 2015. PenzaNews. The authors of best investment projects in the Penza region will receive grants for 400,000 rubles during the final selection stage during the program “Uchastnik Molodezhnovo Nauchno-Innovatsionnovo Konkursa) (UMNIK).

The event will be held in “Rameev” technopark on November 19-20.

Projects will be evaluated by the expert council of scientists, Penza university professors, members of the Innovation Policy Department for the regional Ministry of Production and the Foundation for Assistance to Smaller Enterprises in Scientific and Technical Field, as well as businessmen.

Some 50 young scientists will present the results of their research and development work in the following fields: “Information Technologies,” “Medicine of the Future,” “Modern Materials and Technology of Their Creation,” “New Devices and Systems,” and “Biotechnologies.”

Each project will be rated based on its novelty and relevance to the present, technical importance of produced goods or technologies, and possibility for commercial implementation.

The winners will receive grants from the Foundation, says the innovation portal of the Penza region.
