The project is the initiative of Georgy Kamnev, first deputy chairman for the regional CPRF branch, deputy of the Penza region Legislative Assembly, who also held the first lesson.
According to the leader of the Penza Communist Party branch, the main objective of the project is to help citizens learn how to act when switching communal management companies, tackle red-handed communal servicers, resolve various communal-related issues, and more.
Georgy Kamnev also reminded that he plans to open a Healthy Food and Lifestyle School on the base of his deputy center.
In addition, the first secretary of the Penza region CPRF branch offers free consultations on policy issues with the citizens every Thursday between 10.00 and 13.00. His center also offers free legal consultations in accordance with the same schedule.
“We have many concepts we plan to implement in the nearest future. This includes opening other theme schools and potentially expanding their location, releasing leaflets on relevant issues of the day, meeting voters in smaller villages, founding a full-fledged legal consulting center, and so on. Our main objectives is to form the backbone of the civil society and educate people. The citizens must learn to not be afraid of defending their rights, stand for themselves during the public rallies held by CPRF, protect them in courts, address the authorities, write appeals and requests themselves,” the press service of the CPRF Penza region committee quotes Georgy Kamnev.
The Communal School holds lessons at 18.00 every Thursday in the conference hall of the CPRF Penza region committee building on Kirova street, 24B. Additional information is available by calling +7 (8412) 67-90-00.
