Penza, 21 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza citizens who decided to visit the Arbekovsky market to buy fresh farm-produced food in the morning of Saturday, November 21, has encountered an unexpected obstacle – a whole set of puddles and slush blocking their way.

The dirty and barely navigable mess of melting water and dirt covers not just the trade grounds, but the whole area of the market.
Those who are younger try to move around by jumping over the puzzle, risking to slip and fall down.
The elderly people, who constitute a majority of market visitors, have it harder: the slush and the puddles make them move around slower in an attempt to navigate around them so as not to get their feet wet, or slip and fall down with the bags.
To circumvent the conditions, the farmers who arrived from various areas of the Penza region are trying to clear up the areas by their stalls with shovels. Some even place pallets nearby to help people come closer to take a look at their goods.
