In an address to the audience, Vladimir Reznichenko, first assistant general director of “Rusmolko,” pointed out that celebrating Agricultural Worker Day became a steady custom for the company.

“Our annual gathering after the harvest is a checkpoint of sorts, a time to draw the figures and analyze the results. We are particularly pleased by the fact that our results are getting better and achievements getting greater every year. This is largely due to joining forces with Olam,” he stressed, adding that 2015 was the fourth year of cooperation with the partner.

Vladimir Reznichenko also pointed out that the 2015 levels show positive trends compared to the previous year’s level.

“Everything the Russian Milk Company has achieved this year and over the past several years was possible only thanks to the people that work here. For another year in a row, our solid team of professionals show worthy results. Again, I would like to thank everybody who contributed to the common goal,” he said.

In turn, the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev stressed that “Rusmolko” shows the best results in its field in the region, and thanked the company’s management and staff.

“Dear friends! My deepest gratitude to you for your work. I wish you happiness, prosperity, success, and better results in the upcoming year,” the head of the region added.

After the speech, Ivan Belozertsev rewarded the best workers of “Rusmolko.”

Following that, Sumanta Kumar De, CEO of “Rusmolko” and Vice-President of Olam International, addressed the audience with his speech.

“Even with the tough situation in the field and the economy as a whole, ‘Rusmolko’ successfully continued all its projects,” he stressed.

Over the past two years, the company launched a complex of formidable production facilities – a drying complex, a seed processing facility, a grain elevator and a cattle reproduction center – that greatly improved the situation with the Penza region livestock and vegetable farming industry.

“As an investor, Olam International continues to firmly follow its targets, supporting the business year after year, expanding milk production volumes, increasing the livestock, improving the yield of grain and cattle meal crops, and introducing new technologies,” said the general director of “Rusmolko.”

The company staff also received words of gratitude from Andrei Burlakov, acting deputy chairman of the Penza region government.

“The contribution of ‘Rusmolko’ to our common objective of milk production is enormous. Almost every third kilogram of milk produced in the Penza region comes from the company,” he pointed out.

Andrei Burlakov expressed his gratitude to the company’s management for the results.
