Penza, 27 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev has congratulated women with approaching Mother’s Day during a festive event that took place in the city’s regional Philharmonic Hall on Friday, November 27.

“We owe our mothers for the most important and sacred gift – our lives. No matter how old or young we are, mother is the first person to feel happy for our achievements, to support us in our troubles, to sincerely worry for us on each step of our lives. Therefore, it is not a surprise to see that Mother’s Day of all modern Russian celebrations received unanimous support in the society and became one of the more important ones,” he pointed out.

Victor Kuvaytsev also addressed particular gratitude to mothers of many children and women who adopted orphans.

During the event, over 20 women received letters of gratitude and presents.

The official part was followed by a concert, says the press service of the Penza city Duma.
