Penza region police spotted 56 drivers not stopping for pedestrians during day’s work

Penza, 28 November 2015. PenzaNews. 56 drivers who did not stop for pedestrians crossing the road were fined by the traffic police in an accident prevention campaign held on Friday, November 27.

“The campaign aimed to lower the rate of road crossing traffic accidents,” the press service of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency.

The police urged the drivers to slow down when they see people about to cross the road, and asked the pedestrians to make sure they are given way.
