“The repairs were completed by 22.30 of Saturday, November 28. Following that, the crews took the night time to refill the pipeline systems, and the heating supply to the apartment buildings was resumed in the morning hours of Sunday,” the city administration explained.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the breach on the backflow heating pipeline of “T-Plus Teploset Penza” took place at 15.00 of Friday, November 27, which left 87 houses on Pobedy prospekt, as well as Voroshilova and Kommunisticheskaya streets, without heating for a period of time.

Immediately after the breach, the supply was resumed through a different main pipeline without conducting repairs. However, the supply from the heating source was increased on Saturday, November 28, which became the reason to repair the damaged main pipeline using additional brigades from city’s communal companies managed by a joint task force.

The repair groups came from workers of “T Plus Teploset Penza, “ “Teplosnabzhenie Goroda Penzy,” “Gorvodokanal,” emergency repair crews of communal services and the Oktyabrsky city area, as well as the city cleaning communal force.

The resulting repair force consisted of 56 people using 17 vehicles. The process was personally monitored by the Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev and the acting mayor Sergei Volkov.
