The building is currently undergoing the final stages of construction: it is already decorated in Leroy Merlin’s trademark style, with banners and display letters.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the project was funded by the investor “Lerua Merlen Vostok,” designed by “RuScom Proekt,” and constructed by the primary contractor “Monolitstroy-Plus.”

The single-floor, 10,000 square-meter hypermarket will offer a large assortment of construction materials along with items for home, dacha and garden improvement, split across several zones such as “Kitchen,” “Plumbing,” “Bathroom Equipment,” “Flooring,” and more.

Leroy Merlin (“Lerua Merlen” in Russia) is an international retailer specializing in goods for home, dacha and garden construction and decoration.

The company was founded in 1923 in Northern France. Currently, it holds the top position in Europe in sales volumes.

The first Leroy Merlin store in Russia opened the doors in Mytishchi city in 2004. At present, the company owns 40 hypermarkets in 20 Russian cities.
