Penza, 4 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region is still showing the lowest prices in the Volga Federal District for 2.5-3.2% fat pasteurized unskimmed milk, granulated sugar, and dark and white wheat flour bread, says the message distributed by the regional Agriculture Ministry.

According to it, the average prices in the Penza region are 51.76 rubles for one liter of milk, 45.23 rubles for 1 kg of sugar, and 33.42 rubles for 1 kg of bread.

In addition, the region also keeps some of the lowest prices in the Volga Federal District for grains, such as white rice, semolina, buckwheat, and millet.

Moreover, some fruits and vegetables are also priced relatively low – such as red beet for the average of 15.46 rubles per kg, and apples for 66.25 rubles per kg.
