Penza to hold civilian forum on corruption prevention

Penza, 5 December 2015. PenzaNews. The civilian forum “Corruption: How to Defeat It, and Is That Even Possible?” will take place in the old building of the Penza Lermontov regional library on Wednesday, December 9.

The event is dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day.
Among the visitors of the forum will be Valery Krivov, deputy head of the Penza Region State Service and Government Staff Department who also heads the Corruption and Other Crimes Violation Prevention Department, along with head representatives of the regional prosecutor’s office. A special guest will be Igor Garkin, member of the youth government of the Penza region.
The speakers will discuss the present issues related to bribe-taking, and hold a presentation titled “Legal Ways to Fight Corruption.”
The event will begin at 12.00, says the website of the Lermontova regional library.
