Penza non-profits to receive nearly 8 mln rubles through Russian President’s grant contest

Penza, 9 December 2015. PenzaNews. Three non-profit organizations in the Penza region will receive a total of 7,820,000 rubles to implement social projects through the third 2015 Russian President grant contest.
The Penza regional trade association will receive 3,970,000 rubles to implement a project “Social-Political Video Studio.”
Also, the charity foundation for support of family, motherhood and childhood “Pokrov” will received 3 million rubles for “Legal ER,” an information and legal support project for threatened people.
Moreover, 850,000 rubles will be directed to implement the project “For the Glory of Fatherland!” designed to improve the image of military service and quality of general preparation of school students before the draft, developed by the regional branch of the Air Landing Troops Union.
A total of 4,420 requests from non-profit organizations were reviewed for this year’s contest, with a result of 382 winners.
Over the three contests, a total of eight projects by Penza regions NPOs received 16,966,721 rubles, says the press service of the regional government.
