Andrei Ryzhenkov appointed Russian Supreme Court judge

Penza, 9 December 2015. PenzaNews. Andrei Ryzhenkov, former acting chairman of the Penza regional court, was appointed one of the judges of the Supreme Court of Russia, as per the Russian Federation Council decree signed by its chairman Valentina Matvienko on Wednesday, December 9.

The decree takes effect on the day of signature.
Andrei Mikhaylovich Ryzhenkov was born in Chernovtsy town of the Ukrainian SSR in 1970.
He graduated the Kiev Suvorov Military Academy in 1988, and received a degree in the Vladikavkaz Supreme Military General Service Academy in 1992.
After a term of service in the Russian military garrison in Germany, he worked in the management of the Russian Federal Tax Police Service for the Krasnodar Krai.
Andrei Ryzhenkov has received a law degree in the Kiban State Agricultural University.
In 2000, he was appointed the magistrate for the judicial district No. 36 in the Karasun administrative area of Krasnodar. In 2004, he was promoted to the judge of the Sovetsk area court in Krasnodar.
Since October 2007, he has been working as the first assistant chairman of the Penza regional court.
After Alexei Shishkin was appointed the head of the North-Caucasus region Arbitration Court, Andrey Ryzhenkov had been performing the duties of the Penza regional court head.
