Penza, 12 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has congratulated the citizens of the region with Russian Constitution Day celebrated on Saturday, December 12.

“On 12 December 1993, citizens of Russia chose in favor of democracy, determined the strategic direction for the country’s development. The fundamental law plays a crucial role in reinforcing our statehood, serves to solve grand national-scale tasks, provides a reliable basis for civil rights and freedoms for the good of society, for the prosperity of everyone,” said the head of the region.

He expressed his belief that fruitful creative work, and sincere love to the Motherland, will help Russian citizens fully follow the Constitutional principles and norms, as well as establish their Fatherland as a leading international power.

“I wish you to be healthy, happy, successful in your plans, to make new achievements for the good of Russia and the Penza region,” said Ivan Belozertsev.
