Penza delegation to take part in 9th Russian teachers convention
Penza, 14 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region delegation will take part in the 9th Russian teachers convention “Russian History, National Values and Traditions – Models of Upbringing for Citizens and Patriots” that will take place in Moscow on December 15-16.
It will bring together teachers, heads of universities and colleges in the region, representatives of the Institute of Regional Development, military schools, and patriotism organizations from Penza city and the Kamenka, Nikolsk and Bashmakovo areas.
Olga Fedoseeva, bureau member of the Penza branch for the Russian Teachers Assembly, principal for the Institute of Regional Development, will lead the delegation.
On the first day of the event that will be hosted in the Moscow gymnasium No. 1572, the guests will be involved in discussions dedicated to patriotic upbringing, the Cossack movement as an example of dedicated service to the state, the Russian school students movement, and a new educational paradigm.
Wednesday, December 16, will be marked by the plenary meeting of the convention that will take place in the Pillar Hall of Unions. It will be divided into several topical blocks: “Cossack Movement on the Guard of the Fatherland,” “Responding to Present Challenges and Threats – New Models of Education,” “Patriots of Russia: From Dreams to Feats of Valor,” “Patriotism and International Relations: Power in Unity,” and “Traces of the Great Victory: May 1945 to December 2015.”
In addition, the guests will lay flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
