In his comment to the report of the regional Labor Ministry head Evgeny Troshin, Ivan Belozertsev encouraged better cooperation with heads of municipalities who, in turn, must visit workers.

“People must realize that with shadow economy, they will have nothing in regards to their future pensions,” he pointed out.

Ivan Belozertsev also asked about the reasons why during the labor contract investigation procedure, only 18,000 citizens out of 19,000 received their labor contracts after the officials found out they were working without the documents.

“And what about the rest?” he asked.

In reply, Evgeny Troshin explained that the roadmap for the future was drawn during the recent extended session held by the deputy chairman of the Penza region government Yuri Krivov.

“Does that mean you had no strategy before Yuri Ivanovich [Krivov]? Did the Labor Ministry have no position of its own before?” the governor expressed his outrage, and stated that such approach is unacceptable.

“We make evaluations, we analyze, we report, and what’s the result?” Ivan Belozertsev added.

According to him, the officials also must analyze anonymous reports from employees and submit each and every one to relevant inspection bodies for investigation.

In turn, Evgeny Troshin assured him the Labor Ministry already revised its strategy.

“There is a lot of responsibility on heads of municipalities, and in the government as well. Let us do everything to prevent illegal unemployment,” the governor stressed.
