The work of FSB officers is particularly important in the present age, he stressed.

“To steadfastly protect the country from challenges and threats of terrorism, to defend the country’s sovereignty and integrity, to rectify any law violations, to combat corruption and drug trade – these are the grand objectives for you and your colleagues, set by Russian President Vladimir Putin. I believe you will be able to successfully achieve these objectives set by the head of state,” said Ivan Belozertsev.

The FSB officers are known for their inalienable dedication to service and civil duty, bravery, perseverance, and patriotism, the governor added.
